IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0600UTC chart on 29 December 2014 Issued at 7:02 pm EDT Monday on 29 December 2014 A broad band of patchy middle-level cloud extends from northern parts of the Territory to the far northeast of New South Wales and is associated with a trough. Isolated thunderstorms remain embedded within the cloud band about the Top End , Gulf Country and central Queensland while isolated thunderstorms can also be seen about parts of Tropical North Queensland. A cold front is crossing the southeastern New South Wales, eastern Victoria and Tasmania. Patchy low cloud has formed over much of the Victoria coast in the wake of the cold front. The remainder of Australia is mostly cloud free.
