A large area of isolated diurnal thunderstorms remains over eastern parts of WA but the thunderstorms across the Territory have dissipated.
An upper level trough is producing a broad cloud band which extends from WA to the southwest of TAS with embedded lines of isolated thunderstorms.
Most of the rest is cloud free however, patchy high cloud is streaming across the far north of QLD and the Top End from active thunderstorms. High cloud is also streaming towards the western Pilbara region from severe tropical cyclone "Bruce" which lies well to the west of the Cocos Islands.
