Patchy convective cloud remains visible along a trough from the NT through
southern Queensland and far northern NSW. This trough continues off the southern
Queensland coast merging with a cold front over the northern Tasman Sea. High
level cloud is drifting from the Pilbara region of Western Australia to the
Pastoral districts of South Australia, while a low complex is tracking slowly
across the Bight. Mid level cloud is wrapping round the southern flank of this
system with some cloud extending further east across Victoria and northern
Tasmania. Patchy cloud over the South West Land Division is associated with a
low pressure trough and associated upper trough.
