The trough peering over from the Indian Ocean, bringing visible convective cloud
along its extent, links to severe Tropical Cyclone Marian, which is just off to
the west of the chart. This trough connects trhough to a low just off the
Gascoyne coast in WA streching out into two inland heat troughs; one across the
west coast of WA and the other across the north of the country.

A separate trough stretches over the Coral Sea passing through Tropical Cyclone
Niran which is spilling upper and mid level cloud across much of southeast QLD.

The inland trough over WA is generating cloud across much of central and south
WA flooding over into SA. Meanwhile a cold front has passed over TAS and its
associated with cold pool covers TAS, the Bass Strait and southern VIC with low
level cloud. Low level cloud can also be seen over much of the eastern coast
inland in QLD breaching the eastern coast of NT.
