Two large bands of low to mid level cloud are crossing southwest Western
Australia, associated with two cold fronts and series of troughs. Isolated
thunderstorm activity is occurring, mainly to the south of the continent.
Patches of mid to high level cloud stretch ahead of this system across the
eastern half of the southern coast of Australia.

Some low to middle level cloud can be seen about the coastal tropics,
particularly around North Tropical Coast in Queensland.

The remainder of the country is largely cloud free due to a dominant ridge of
high pressure.
