Middle and high level cloud, associated with a trough and low pressure system
over the Indian Ocean, extends over southwestern parts of WA.

Low and middle level cloud associated with a cold front has now moved out over
the Tasman Sea. High cloud in advance of this system covers coastal parts of
southeast Queensland, while cold-air convective cloud in its wake covers parts
of Tasmania and Victoria.

Cloud embedded within a moist southeasterly trade wind flow lies over parts of
the Top End.

A broad area of deep convective cloud can be seen near the Solomon Islands and
is associated with EX-Tropical Cyclone "Raquel".
