A cloud band associated with a strong fast-moving cold front is crossing
southern SA, Victoria and Tasmania. Cold, unstable air following the front
appears as "speckled" cloud.

A trough near the WA west coast is producing some middle level cloud over the
central west of that state. Low cloud lies along the WA south coast and southern
SA in a moist onshore airstream.

Low cloud also affects the North Tropical coast and adjacent inland of
Queensland.
