Thick cloud band over the Tasman Sea with thunderstorm activity east of
northeast NSW and southeast QLD is associated with a low pressure trough moving
east.

Low cloud is developing along the NSW coast as the high pressure system ridges
into the Tasman Sea.

A lengthy area of frontal cloud stretches from west of southern WA to Tasmania.
This is associated with a leading warm front and a cold front.

There is some storm activity also about the NT Top End.
