IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 0600UTC Chart Issued at 5:15 pm EST Monday on 19 April 2021 A trough over the Coral Sea is generating convective cloud and thunderstorms near and over the North Qld coast. Convective activity is also visible over Cape York Peninsula and the Gulf of Carpentaria. A cold front is approaching SA, VIC and TAS with an associated band of middle and high level cloud. The western end of this front is bringing high cloud to southwest WA. Extensive low cloud is affecting VIC, TAS and southeast SA ahead of this front. The remainder of the country is mainly cloud free.
