A high in the Bight is directing onshore winds and areas of low cloud over
southern parts of Australia. Low level cloud also extends over eastern NSW and
southern parts of Queensland. Patchy cloud is evident in the vicintiy of a
trough through the interior of Queensland.

Meanwhile an upper level trough is resulting in some mid to high level cloud
with isolated thunderstorms over inland parts of Western Australia. Clear
conditions persist elsewhere through the interior and across northern Australia
with a dry airmass.
