IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0600UTC Chart Issued at 6:16 pm EDT Tuesday on 10 December 2019 A cold front is clearing the eastern seaboard. Its middle level cloud band now barely stretches back to northeast SA. Thunderstorm activity has broken out over the NT, the northern half of WA and also about southeast QLD and northeast NSW. Enhanced tropical convection over the Coral Sea is gradually pushing onto the North Queensland coast. Areas of thick smoke, appearing as low cloud, can be seen over eastern NSW and parts of southeast QLD.
