A large mass of cloud extends from central Western Australia to south of
Tasmania. This cloud is from a cold front combining with a strong upper trough.
Low cloud driven by moist southeasterly winds is over southern WA in the wake of
this front.

An area of cloud over southeast Queensland and the adjacent sea is being
generated by a cold trough in the middle levels of the atmosphere.

Some thunderstorm cloud is evident over the Kimberley, WA and the NT Top End.
