Isolated thunderstorm activity can be seen about eastern parts of Western Australia and about the west of South Australia. This convective activity lies near to, and to the east of, a surface trough. High cloud extends across southern parts of the Territory and most of the remaining districts of South Australia.

Isolated thunderstorms can also be seen over the southern interior of Queensland and are due to another surface trough.

High cloud is streaming over Tasmania from a from a frontal system much further to the west. The northern portion of this front is approaching the far southwest of Western Australia.
