IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 1800UTC chart on 1 September 2015 Issued at 5:55 am EST Wednesday on 02 September 2015 An area of middle level cloud extends over central areas of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, and is associated with a slow moving surface trough. A cold front now lies over southeastern South Australia, producing a band of rainfall ahead of the system, followed by an area of showers and thunderstorms which are currently crossing the Eyre Peninsula. A high is directing a moist onshore flow to the remaining southern coastlines of Western Australia and SA, with patchy low level cloud present in this area. A weakening low pressure system is seen over the Tasman Sea, and is finally moving away from the continent.
