A strong cold front is moving across the southeast of Australia, generating an
extensive cloud band with embedded thunderstorms over New South Wales, Victoria,
Tasmania and eastern parts of South Australia. High level cloud can be seen
streaming down over the Southern Ocean and the Tasman Sea.

Cloud over the Coral Sea is due to an upper level trough to the west.

A band of middle level cloud stretches over the Indian Ocean to the west coast
of Western Australia. A cold front over the Southern Ocean is approaching the
southwest of Western Australia.
