Issued at 11:00 am EDT Saturday on 25 October 2014
A patchy middle and upper level cloud band extends from the interior of WA across northern SA to border between QLD and NSW. Isolated thunderstorms are visible within the band over southern SA. This cloud is associated with a broad area of low pressure trough.
Middle level cloud and isolated thunderstorms associated with a trough are present over the Tasman sea.
A band of cloud over SW Western Australia is due to a weakening cold front approaching from the west.
Other areas remain mainly cloud free.
