There is a band of convective and high level cloud along the axis of a low
pressure trough that extends from the Pilbara to the Lower West regions of
Western Australia.

There is thick convective cloud covering most of the Top End, lessening towards
north tropical Queensland.

An extensive band of deep cloud covers central Northern Territory through to
southeastern Victoria, and further south into the Southern Ocean.

Low cloud covers most of South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria.

The eastern coast of Queensland and southern inland parts of Western Australia
are mostly cloud free.
