Convective cloud and thunderstorms are visible across the northern tropics,
associated with an active monsoon trough.

A large mid to high level cloud band with thunderstorms stretches from the
tropical north towards the southeast, associated with a series of surface
troughs and an approaching cold front.

Moist onshore flow is bringing low level cloud to southwest WA and the Qld
coast.
