A surface trough over the Pilbara is responsible for the thunderstorm activity
around that area.

A surface trough extends from a low over the Kimberley, through SA to a low over
Victoria, then past the Tasmanian west coast. Isolated thunderstorms are
occurring along the trough over the continent.

A surface trough and low pressure system are responsible for thunderstorms over
the Torres Strait and Arafura Sea.

A cold front is crossing the Southern Ocean, with a pool of cold air behind it
indicated by the patchy cloud.
