Thunderstorms can be seen around the low pressure system, mainly over the Tasman Sea. A cold front with an associated cloud band and embedded thunderstorms, is approaching the southwest parts of Western Australia. Another cloud band associated with another cold front is moving across Tasmania from the west. The rest of the country remains clear due to a large high pressure system centred over southwest Queensland.
