Severe Tropical Cyclone "Herman" is located in the Indian Ocean, south of
Christmas Island.

A significant region of middle and high cloud covers most of central and
southern Western Australia propagating east to central Australia. A low sits off
the southern Western Australia coast with a trough extending into the Gascoyne
region.

A trough lies through central Queensland and into the Coral Sea. There is some
thunderstorm activity to the west of Cape York.

A cold front is passing over Tasmania and is approaching South Australian and
Victoria.

A ridge in the Bight is driving moist onshore flow, which is producing areas of
low cloud through Victoria, western Tasmania, coastal South Australia.

The rest of the country is mostly cloud free.
