IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 0600UTC Chart Issued at 6:25 pm EST Thursday on 18 August 2022 A cold front with an extensive cloud band sweeps over southeastern Australia as it begins to slip southwards. A second developing cold front further west moving over western parts of SA has an associated cloud band over the region with distinctive open cellular cloud over the Great Australian Bight in the cold postfrontal airmass. A thin band of cloud fed by tropical moisture from the tropical Indian Ocean south of indonesia can be seem moving across the Gascoyne coast and into the goldfields region of WA. The remainder of the country remains relatively clear under the influence of a high pressure ridge.
