A trough extends from central Australia through eastern South Australia to a low
over the Great Australian Bight and is generating middle level cloud and
isolated thunderstorms.

Patches of low cloud over the east coast of northern Queensland is due to an on
shore southeast wind flow. The low over the Great Australian Bight directs an on
shore wind flow over the southern coasts of Western Australia and South
Australia generating patches of low cloud within the vicinity.

A surface trough to the northwest of Australia has generated broad area of
thunderstorms near Indonesia.
