A trough extends from the Kimberley region of WA through central Australia to a
low over northeast NSW and extends further into the Tasman Sea. A large area of
cloud with embedded thunderstorms is present near and to the north and east of
this trough.

Another trough extends southwards from the Pilbara region to the southwest coast
of WA with an associated band of cloud and thunderstorms mainly near the trough.

Low cloud covers much of South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria due to a moist
onshore flow.

The central eastern coast of Queensland and southeastern parts of Western
Australia are mostly cloud free.
