A cold front is approaching WA from the west with a cloud band of middle to
upper level cloud streaming ahead of this feature across south WA. An extensive
region of convective cloud can be seen across west SA and most of NT associated
with several inland troughs. Further smaller bands of middle to upper level
cloud can be seen in southeast Queensland and southern NSW associated with low
pressure troughs in these regions.

The rest of the continent is mostly cloud free except for low level cloud over
Tasmania.
