IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0000UTC chart on 2 June 2015 Issued at 12:08 pm EST Tuesday on 02 June 2015 A broad band of high and middle level cloud extends from the east coast of Queensland into the Coral Sea. This cloud is associated with an upper trough. A complex low pressure system lies over the Tasman Sea and a large area of cold air convective cloud associated with the low can be seen just to the east of the continent. Patchy low cloud remains about parts of Tasmania and southern Victoria within the southerly airstream well to the west of the complex low. A frontal cloud band with embedded thunderstorms is located over the southwest of WA. High cloud in advance of this front and associated with an upper trough is streaming from the northwest to the southeast of the state while another front approaches from the southwest.
