IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 0000UTC Chart Issued at 12:37 pm EDT Saturday on 23 January 2021 Convective cloud and thunderstorms are visible across the northern tropics, associated with an active monsoon trough. A tropical low associated with an active cloud band has moved inland, crossing the Pilbara coast. Cloud covers much of the northern and eastern parts of WA and extends across the inland parts of the continent and into central Qld. Western WA, SA, Victoria and NSW are mostly clear due to a high pressure system. There is some low cloud over the west of Tasmania generated by a westerly flow.
