The area of high and mid level cloud over eastern Queensland has moved out over
the Tasman Sea. This is being driven by both an upper level and a surface
trough. Remaining over southeast Queensland and northeast NSW is a large area of
low cloud.

Weak surface troughs and an upper air disturbance are responsible for the middle
level cloud across parts of Western Australia, western South Australia and
southern NT. A vigorous cold front is approaching WA.

The north of the continent remains mostly cloud free.
