Issued at 11:00 am EST Monday on 23 July 2018

A series of cold fronts and troughs are moving across the Bight and South
Australia and through into New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. Areas of
middle and high level cloud with embedded thunderstorms can be seen throughout
the region associated with these systems.

Low level cloud over the Indian Ocean can seen drifting across western WA which
is associated with a ridge of high pressure.

The remainder of the continent is mainly cloud free under the influence of a
high pressure ridge.
