A low to mid level cloud band extends over eastern NSW from the Tasman Sea. This
is associated with a surface trough off the NSW coast.

A cold front over the Bight has showers and thunderstorms embedded in the
associated mid level cloud. Cold air behind the front is generating multiple
thunderstorm cells over waters south of WA and low cloud covers most of
southwest WA.

The remainder of the continent is mostly clear under the influence of a weak
high pressure ridge.
