IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0000UTC chart on 3 March 2015 Issued at 12:27 pm EDT Tuesday on 03 March 2015 A large thunderstorm complex is over the western Kimberley, WA. High and middle level cloud from the WA southern interior is streaming eastward to over the Tasman Sea ahead of a cold front near Tasmania. A strong upper level trough just west of WA is helping to generate this extensive cloud band. Thunderstorm activity continues over the tropical north of the country especially near the Gulf of Carpentaria.
