IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 0000UTC Chart Issued at 11:43 am EST Tuesday on 20 April 2021 A trough over the Coral Sea is generating convective cloud and thunderstorms near and over the North Tropical Coast of Qld. Convective activity is also visible over Cape York Peninsula, the Gulf of Carpentaria and across the Arafura Sea. A cold front crossing SA, Vic and Tas is associated with a band of middle to high level cloud. A broad area of speckled low level cloud follows this front. A trough over the inland Gascoyne district of WA is generating areas of cloud and isolated thunderstorms. The remainder of the country is mainly cloud free, aside from low level cloud across southwestern WA.
