Speckled cloud in cold air cloud can be seen over the eastern parts of the
Tasman Sea wrapping around a low pressure system.

A thick cloud band extends over far southeast parts of SA, parts of Victoria and
Tasmania and is associated with a weak cold front that is moving through the
region.

A thickening cloud band over far southwest WA is associated with a surface
trough ahead of the cold front that is associated with the thick cloud band with
embedded showers and thunderstorms that sweeps over the Indian Ocean and wraps
into the low pressure system associated with the cold front.

A high pressure system over central New South Wales is keeping the remaining
areas of Australia cloud free.
