A large cloud band covers the southeastern part of the country, including
Tasmania, associated with troughs of low pressure and a complex low pressure
system in the Bight, just south of SA.

Cloud and a few embedded thunderstorms can also be seen extending northwestwards
through much of SA and over the central interior of WA.

The rest of the country is mostly cloud free apart from areas of low cloud over
southern WA and an area of cloud over the coastal region of the Pilbara district
of WA.
