A series of cold fronts are moving across the Tasman Sea. Extensive area of
cellular convective cloud can be seen in the cold air west of the fronts.

Low cloud over the southern parts of the continent is due to onshore southerly
flow directed by a high pressure system near WA/South Australia border.

Southeast wind flow is directing low level cloud near Cape York Peninsula and
the northeastern parts of the Top End.

The remainder of the continent is largely cloud free under the influence of a
high pressure ridge.
