Patchy high cloud streaming over northern Australia is associated with an upper
level jet stream.

A cold front with a highly active line of embedded thunderstorms continues to
move east through the Tasman Sea. Cellular clouds with isolated thunderstorms
can be seen in the cold air behind the front over Tasmania, southern Victoria
and adjacent waters.

A high pressure system is generating onshore winds with patchy low cloud to the
southern coastlines of Western Australia and South Australia while keeping
remaining parts of the continent clear.
