A weak low and a trough to the northwest of the NT, is generating an active area
of cloud and thunderstorms over the Kimberley region of WA and over the NT.
Areas of cloud and a few thunderstorms are also present over northwest Qld and
over the Cape York Peninsula.

A trough extends from the Pilbara region in WA to a low in the Gascoyne region
and through to southwest WA and has associated cloud with embedded
thunderstorms.

A trough from the NT extends to a shallow low near the Qld, NSW, and SA border
and continues through to central Vic. Scattered clouds with embedded
thunderstorms are associated with this trough.

A low off the Vic east coast is associated with a trough that extends up the NSW
coast and is generating a large area of cloud over eastern Vic, Tas and coastal
NSW.

The rest of the country is mostly cloud free apart from areas of low level cloud
along the coasts of southern WA, SA, NSW and Qld.
