IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 1200UTC chart on 6 May 2015 Issued at 2:27 am EST Thursday on 07 May 2015 A surge of cold air on the northern flank of a low pressure system, currently to the southeast of Tasmania, is responsible for a broad area of shower activity. Patchy low cloud is evident throughout Victoria, southern South Australia and about the southern coastline of Western Australia, as well as on the Great Dividing Range in southern New South Wales. The remainder of the country is generally clear due to a ridge of high pressure extending into the central interior from a strong high to the west of Western Australia.
