An upper level low and associated surface trough is responsible for the band of
cloud with embedded thunderstorms over eastern Queensland. Onshore winds
continue to bring patchy low cloud along the Queensland, northern NSW and the
South Australian coasts.

Another surface trough is causing some low cloud over the far eastern parts of
Victoria.

A cold front with associated low cloud is moving across Tasmania.

A high pressure ridge is keeping central and most of Western Australia clear
with patchy high cloud over northern parts of the country.
