A middle to high level cloud band is crossing the Tasman Sea ahead of a cold
front. There are large areas of thunderstorm activity off northeast NSW and
southeast QLD.

Low cloud is gathering along the NSW coast as the high pressure system ridges
into the Tasman Sea.

A lengthy area of frontal cloud stretches from west of southern WA to Tasmania.
This is associated with a leading warm front and a cold front.

There is some storm activity also about the NT Top End.
