Middle level cloud over the interior of the continent to over NSW and VIC is
caused by an upper level trough with thunderstorms along the NSW and VIC border.

Thunderstorm activity is visible near the Kimberley and also over the Gulf of
Carpentaria.

A cloud band associated with a cold front is approaching soughwest corner of WA.
