A surface trough and associated upper level trough are generating a cloud band
that extends from central Queensland, over New South Wales and then out over the
Tasman Sea.

Low cloud is visible near the coast of the southern states in a cool onshore
flow.

A surface trough and low pressure centre are producing patchy middle level cloud
and isolated thunderstorms over the Bight.
