Convective clouds are evident over Gulf of Carpentaria, northern parts of
Queensland and inland Northern Territory resulting in thunderstorm activity in a
complex, broad low pressure area.

Middle level cloud extends from NT over northeastern South Australia, NSW and
QLD ahead of an upper level trough.

A cold front is approaching Tasmania from the west. A broad cloud band ahead of
this cold front can be seen west of Tasmania, extending over southeast SA and
southwest Victoria.

Patchy low level cloud is visible over the southern coast of Western Australia
and SA in a onshore airstream.
