A cold front is clearing off the southeast coast of Australia with patchy cloud
lingering in the vicinity of a trough through NSW. Cloud is also evident about
the NE ranges of Victoria and the Snowy Mountains. Onshore winds are bringing
cloud to the east Queensland coast with more extensive cloud about the Central
Highlands.

A strong cold front is affecting the southern coast of Western Australia and
this connects to a very intense low over the Southern Ocean. Extensive cold and
unstable air as depicted by the speckled cloud is visible west of the front.

Clear conditions persist through the interior and across the north of the
country.
