An upper level disturbance is generating middle to upper level cloud and areas
of vigorous thunderstorms through eastern parts of Western Australia and South
Australia, as well as over the Kimberley region and into the Northern Territory.
The northern section of the cloud band also stretches further east into western

Another low pressure trough over the Tasman Sea in combination with a high
pressure system over eastern Victoria are maintaining a moist onshore flow along
 the eastern seaboard, generating areas of low cloud.

A developing low pressure system near the head of the Bight is generating middle
to upper level cloud through South Australia and western Victoria.

Moist onshore flow is also generating areas of low level cloud over southern
coastal regions of WA.
