IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 1200UTC chart on 28 March 2015 Issued at 12:50 am EDT Sunday on 29 March 2015 A high pressure ridge is directing low level cloud over southeastern Australia in a weak moist onshore flow. The remnants of Tropical Cyclone Nathan are off the north Kimberley coast with extensive cloud and embedded thunderstorms. A broad area of mostly middle level cloud is streaming from NW Western Australia towards the southeast, through parts of the Northern Territory, South Australia and New South Wales. Some isolated thunderstorms are active near the Gulf of Carpentaria. The remnants of earlier storms are visible through central Queensland near a trough.
