Ex-Tropical Cyclone Owen is located over the Coral Sea with a few thunderstorms
near its centre.

A series of low pressure troughs through the southeast of the country are
driving thunderstorms through northwestern Victoria as well as an active area of
severe storms through central to northeastern NSW.
Low cloud is being pushed over southern parts of WA and SA by the southerly wind
flow to the west of these troughs.

Low level convective cloud through tropical northern parts of the NT and QLD has
been brought about by afternoon surface heating in otherwise clear skies.
