A pool of cold air with speckled convective cloud is moving over southeastern
Australia and Tasman Sea in the southerly flow behind a cold front approaching
New Zealand. Vigorous southerly flow also directs low and middle level clouds
over southeast Australia.

An area of mid-level cloud over the Gascoyne and Pilbara regions is associated
with a surface trough.

A developing low pressure system and trough with associated cloud band is moving
over southern SA. Middle level cloud is approaching southwest WA associated with
a low and a cold front well offshore. Another cold front is now slipping
southeast across the Southern Ocean south of the Bight.

The remainder of the continent is mostly cloud free.
