Severe Tropical Cyclone Owen over the Gulf of Carpentaria and accociated
convective feeder bands across the north continue to generate showers and
thunderstorms.

An elongated trough with accociated showers and thunderstorms extend from
Western Australia across Central Australia to Victoria. A moist northerly flow
east of the trough coupled with good upper support is generating shower and
thundertorm acivity across the eastern coast of Australia.

A developing low pressure system and associated cold front over Victoria
continue to enhance shower and thunderstorm acivity of Victoria and NSW.

An area of low cloud over southern Western Australia and Southern Australia is
due to on shore southerly flow.
