Extensive shower and thunderstorm activity continues across the far northeast of
the country, particularly near a low pressure system (ex-Tropical Cyclone Owen)
over the Gulf of Carpentaria.

A cloud band stretches from South Australia across New South Wales to the Tasman
Sea. This is associated with an upper level disturbance.

A cold front is approaching southwest Western Australia.
